Asus MeMO Pad 8 is better than Amazon Fire HD 8, with a 61.2 score against 54.1. Both of these tablets come with Android operating system, but Asus MeMO Pad 8 has 4.4 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version. Despite of the fact that Asus MeMO Pad 8 is older than Amazon Fire HD 8, it's body is a little bit lighter and just a bit thinner.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a bit better CPU than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has 1 GB more RAM memory. Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a much more vibrant screen than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has a better display density and a way higher 1920 x 1200 resolution.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a quite bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has an external SD slot that allows 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a battery duration that's just as good as Amazon Fire HD 8's battery life.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 shoots much better pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8. Both have the same video frame rate, a 5 MP camera in the back and the same 1280x720 video quality.
