Comparison review

The Google Nexus 9 is a lot better than the Amazon Fire HD 8, getting a 74.5 score against 54.1. Both of these tablets include Android OS, but the Google Nexus 9 has the previous 5.0 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version. The Google Nexus 9 is an older, heavier and just a little thicker device than Amazon Fire HD 8.

Google Nexus 9 counts with an incredibly better looking screen than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has a lot higher resolution of 2048 x 1536, a little bit larger display and way more pixels per inch in the screen. Google Nexus 9 features a better performing CPU than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has a lower number of cores , it also counts with more RAM memory and a 64 bits processor.

Amazon Fire HD 8 has a quite bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Google Nexus 9, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 128 GB. The Google Nexus 9 counts with a very superior battery performance than Amazon Fire HD 8.

The Google Nexus 9 captures a lot better videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Google Nexus 9 also has a way more mega pixels camera.

Google Nexus 9 costs a lot more money than the Amazon Fire HD 8, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
