Comparison review

The LG G Pad 8.3 has a score of 65.9, which is a lot better than the Amazon Fire HD 8's general score of 54.1. Even being the best we are comparing here, LG G Pad 8.3's body is much older, a little bit heavier and just a little thicker than Amazon Fire HD 8. Both tablets we are comparing have Android OS (Operating System), but LG G Pad 8.3 has the previous 4.4 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop.

LG G Pad 8.3 features a bit more powerful CPU than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has a greater amount of RAM. The LG G Pad 8.3 has a much better looking screen than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has a greater pixels number per inch of screen, a little bit bigger display and a lot better 1200 x 1920px resolution.

Amazon Fire HD 8 has a little bit better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have the same 16 GB internal memory capacity, the Amazon Fire HD 8 also has a SD extension slot that holds up to 128 GB. LG G Pad 8.3 captures a lot better pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8. They have the same video frame rate, the same video resolution and the same resolution back-facing camera.

The LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a really longer battery performance than Amazon Fire HD 8.

The LG G Pad 8.3 costs a little more than the Amazon Fire HD 8, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
