The LG G Pad III 8.0 is better than the Amazon Fire HD 8, having a score of 64.3 against 54.1. Both devices in this comparison review have Android OS (operating system), but the LG G Pad III 8.0 has the newer 7.0 Nougat version while Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version, so it provides the user a couple additional features. The LG G Pad III 8.0 is a a bit lighter but just a little bit thicker portable tablet than the Amazon Fire HD 8.

The LG G Pad III 8.0 has a little better processing power than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has more RAM memory and a higher number of 1.5 gigahertz cores. LG G Pad III 8.0 has a more vivid screen than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have a same size display, the LG G Pad III 8.0 also has a higher amount of pixels per inch of display and a lot higher 1200 x 1920 resolution.

LG G Pad III 8.0 counts with a much bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal storage capacity, the LG G Pad III 8.0 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG G Pad III 8.0 captures much clearer photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8. They have the same resolution camera, the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same video frame rate.

LG G Pad III 8.0 has a way better battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 8.
