Comparison review
LG G Pad X 10.1 is a lot better than the Amazon Fire HD 8, having a global score of 67.4 against 54.1. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but LG G Pad X 10.1 has 5.1 Lollipop version and Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop. LG G Pad X 10.1 is a much heavier tablet than the Amazon Fire HD 8, but they are 0.3inches thick.
LG G Pad X 10.1 has a little sharper display than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920px, a bigger display and a little higher pixel density. The LG G Pad X 10.1 has a very superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB and more internal storage.
LG G Pad X 10.1 counts with a bit faster CPU than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor, the LG G Pad X 10.1 also has 1 GB more RAM.
