Comparison review

Microsoft Surface Pro has a score of 63.2, which is much better than the Amazon Fire HD 8's 54.1 general score. Although it's the best tablet device we compare here, it must be noted that it's also a incredibly older, extremely thicker and much heavier tablet device. Microsoft Surface Pro comes with Windows 8 Pro OS, and Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.

The Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a bit superior processor than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit and more RAM memory. Microsoft Surface Pro has a more vivid screen than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has a just a bit better screen pixel density, a much higher 1080 x 1920 resolution and a lot bigger screen.

The Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a much greater memory for apps and games than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage. The Amazon Fire HD 8 shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a lot better video resolution and a lot better 5 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera.

The Microsoft Surface Pro's battery life is very similar to the battery duration in Amazon Fire HD 8.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than Amazon Fire HD 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Amazon Fire HD 8. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Amazon Fire HD 8, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
