Although Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is newer than the Amazon Fire HD 8, it is incredibly heavier and just a little thicker. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) works with Windows 10 Pro operating system, and Amazon Fire HD 8 works with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.

The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) counts with a bit better processing power than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has a lower number of cores , it also counts with 15 GB more RAM. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a more vivid screen than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has a really bigger display, a much higher 2736 x 1824 resolution and a better screen pixel density.

The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) features a much better storage for games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 1000 GB internal memory.
