Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a general score of 82.4, which is much better than Amazon Fire HD 8's global score of 54.1. Although Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is newer than the Amazon Fire HD 8, it is incredibly heavier and just a little thicker. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) works with Windows 10 Pro operating system, and Amazon Fire HD 8 works with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.
The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) counts with a bit better processing power than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has a lower number of cores , it also counts with 15 GB more RAM. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a more vivid screen than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has a really bigger display, a much higher 2736 x 1824 resolution and a better screen pixel density.
The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) features a much better storage for games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 1000 GB internal memory. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017)'s battery life is just as good as the battery life in Amazon Fire HD 8.
