Nokia N1 is way better than the Amazon Fire HD 8, with a overall score of 66 against 54.1. These tablets use Android OS (operating system), but Nokia N1 has the older 5.0 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version. Nokia N1 is an older and a little heavier portable tablet than the Amazon Fire HD 8, but Nokia managed to make it a little thinner anyway.

Nokia N1 features a much better performing processing unit than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Nokia N1 also has 1 GB more RAM memory, an additional graphics co-processor and a 64-bit processor. The Nokia N1 has a much better looking screen than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a way higher 2048 x 1536px resolution and a way greater pixel quantity per inch in the display.

The Nokia N1 features a much better camera than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same video frame rates, the Nokia N1 also has a back facing camera with a much better resolution. The Amazon Fire HD 8 has more memory for apps and games than Nokia N1, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB.

Nokia N1 has a much better battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 8.

Nokia N1 costs a lot more than Amazon Fire HD 8, but you can get a much better tablet for that few extra dollars.
