Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is much better than Amazon Fire HD 8, with a 77.4 score against 54.1. These tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has an older 4.4.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version. Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is a notably older, a little thicker and noticeably heavier portable tablet than the Amazon Fire HD 8.
