Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has a score of 66.3, which is much better than Amazon Fire HD 8's 54.1 overall score. Both devices in our current comparison use Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has older 4.4 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version. Despite being the best tablet in our current comparison, it must be noted that it is also way older, somewhat thicker and notably heavier.

Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has a quite worse screen pixel density, and they both have the same exact 800 x 1280px resolution, the Galaxy Note 10.1 also counts with a bigger display. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has a much better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has a SD card slot that allows 96 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.

The Amazon Fire HD 8 counts with just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 4 cores. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a camera that's just as good as the Amazon Fire HD 8 one, both have the same video frame rate, the same (HD) video definition and the same resolution camera in the back.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a very superior battery performance than Amazon Fire HD 8.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 costs a lot more than Amazon Fire HD 8, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra dollars.
