Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 is much better than the Amazon Fire HD 8, having a 78.2 score against 54.1. Despite being the best tablet in our current comparison, Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 is an older, a little bit thicker and noticeably heavier tablet than the Amazon Fire HD 8. Both devices in our current comparison use Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 has an older 4.4 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 features a quite superior processing power than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 also has more RAM and an additional graphics processor. The Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 counts with a much better display than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has a much better resolution of 1600 x 2560, a way bigger screen and a greater pixel count per inch in the display.

Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 counts with a greater camera than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 also has a way higher 8 mega-pixels resolution back camera. Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 counts with a much better storage for games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.

The Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 costs a lot more money than Amazon Fire HD 8, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
