Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a score of 66.5, which is way better than Amazon Fire HD 8's 54.1 score. Even though Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is extremely older and incredibly thicker than Amazon Fire HD 8, it's body is still just a little bit lighter. These tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has the older 4.4.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has just a bit better hardware performance than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has lesser CPU cores , it also counts with a GPU and 512 MB more RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features a more vivid screen than Amazon Fire HD 8, although it has a quite smaller screen, a just a bit worse pixels count per display inch and a way lower 600 x 1024 pixels resolution.

The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8, although it has a lot worse resolution back-facing camera. The Amazon Fire HD 8 counts with just a bit more storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal memory capacity, the Amazon Fire HD 8 also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 128 GB.

The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a really longer battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 8.

The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 costs more money than Amazon Fire HD 8, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
