Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has a general score of 57.5, which is a little bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 8's 54.1 score. Both of these tablets have Android OS, but the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has older 4.1 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version. Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids is an extremely older and a lot thicker tablet than Amazon Fire HD 8, but Samsung managed to make it just a little lighter anyway.

Amazon Fire HD 8 counts with a bit superior CPU than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM memory, the Amazon Fire HD 8 also has more cores. GALAXY Tab 3 Kids features a brighter display than Amazon Fire HD 8, although it has a little lower pixel density, a little bit smaller screen and a lot worse 600 x 1024 resolution.

Amazon Fire HD 8 has a much bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 128 GB and more internal storage. The GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has a bit better camera than Amazon Fire HD 8, although it has a back facing camera with a way lower resolution.

The Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids features a much longer battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 8.

Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids is not only the best tablets of the ones in this comparison, but it's also by far the cheapest, which makes it an obvious call.
