Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V is slightly better than Amazon Fire HD 8, having a 58.5 score against 54.1. These tablets have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V has an older 4.4 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop. Although it's the best device in this comparison review, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V construction is much thicker and just a little heavier than the Amazon Fire HD 8.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V has a little more vivid display than Amazon Fire HD 8, although it has a little bit lower display pixel density, a bit smaller display and a way worse resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. Amazon Fire HD 8 features a much greater memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 3 V, because it has 16 GB internal storage and a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 128 GB.

The Amazon Fire HD 8 counts with a little bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab 3 V, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM, the Amazon Fire HD 8 also has a greater number of cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V has a really longer battery life than Amazon Fire HD 8. The Galaxy Tab 3 V shoots slightly better videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 8, although it has a back facing camera with a lot lower 2 mega pixels resolution and a way lower 640x480 (VGA) video quality.

In addition to being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, the Galaxy Tab 3 V is also a bargain compared to the other ones, making it an easy decision.
