Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has an overall score of 63.5, which is much better than the Amazon Fire HD 8's score of 54.1. These tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has 4.0 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop. Although it's the best in this comparison review, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a just a little bit thicker and a bit heavier tablet than the Amazon Fire HD 8.

Amazon Fire HD 8 features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, and they both have a 1 GB RAM, the Amazon Fire HD 8 also counts with a larger number of faster cores. Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE features a better display than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE also counts with a just a little greater pixels amount in each screen inch.

The Amazon Fire HD 8 counts with more storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Amazon Fire HD 8 also has a SD memory slot that supports up to 128 GB. Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE takes a little bit better videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 8, although it has a lot lower (HD) video resolution and a back-facing camera with way less MP resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has a much longer battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 8.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE costs a lot more money than the Amazon Fire HD 8, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
