Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has an overall score of 62.8, which is much better than Amazon Fire HD 8's overall score of 54.1. Galaxy Tab A 8.0's body is a little bit heavier but just a bit thinner than the Amazon Fire HD 8, and both were released with only 5 months difference. Both tablets we compare here include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has 7.1 Nougat version and Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version.
