Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab E has an overall score of 60.7, which is better than Amazon Fire HD 8's general score of 54.1. Both of these devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab E has the older 4.4 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop. Despite being the best in this review, the Galaxy Tab E design is a little thicker and extremely heavier than Amazon Fire HD 8.

The Amazon Fire HD 8 features a little faster processor than Galaxy Tab E, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Amazon Fire HD 8 has a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 800 x 1280 resolution, the Amazon Fire HD 8 also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch of display.

The Galaxy Tab E captures a lot better photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8. Both of them have the same video definition, a back camera with a 5 MP resolution and the same video frame rates. The Amazon Fire HD 8 has a quite bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab E, and although they both have an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB, the Amazon Fire HD 8 also has more internal memory.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab E counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 8.
