Comparison review

Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a lot better than Amazon Fire HD 8, getting a general score of 74.6 against 54.1. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has older 4.4 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version. The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 construction is just a little bit thinner than Amazon Fire HD 8, although it is extremely heavier and was released around a year before.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with an incredibly better display than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has a lot better resolution of 1600 x 2560, a much higher pixel count per screen inch and a bigger screen. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has a SD memory slot that holds up to 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 16 GB more internal memory capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a greater processing power than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has an extra graphics processor and a larger amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a much longer battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 8.

Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 takes better photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has a lot higher resolution back-facing camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is way more expensive than the Amazon Fire HD 8, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
