Comparison review

Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is way better than the Amazon Fire HD 8, getting a global score of 78.5 against 54.1. Both tablets in our current comparison include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has the older 4.4 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop. Even being the best in this review, Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2's design is older, incredibly heavier and just a little bit thicker than the Amazon Fire HD 8.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with a much better looking display than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has a much bigger screen, a much higher 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution and a higher count of pixels per display inch. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a way bigger storage for applications and games than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has a SD extension slot that admits up to 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.

Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with a superior hardware performance than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has an additional graphics processor and more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 shoots much better photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has a camera with way more MP.

Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a superior battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 8.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is a lot more expensive than Amazon Fire HD 8, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
