Comparison review

Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is much better than Amazon Fire HD 8, with a global score of 74.3 against 54.1. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has older 4.4.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version. Even though Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is older and extremely heavier than Amazon Fire HD 8, it's design is still somewhat thinner.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has an incredibly better looking display than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has a really bigger display, a much higher pixels density and a much better resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels. Galaxy Tab S 10.5 counts with a way bigger storage for games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have an external memory slot that supports up to 128 GB, the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 also has 16 GB more internal storage capacity.

The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a little faster CPU than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has a higher number of faster cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Tab S 10.5 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 also has a much more megapixels back camera.

Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features a really longer battery performance than Amazon Fire HD 8.

The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 costs a little more money than the Amazon Fire HD 8, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
