Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is much better than the Amazon Fire HD 8, getting a 74.5 score against 54.1. Both devices in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has older 4.4.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop. Despite of the fact that Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is older than the Amazon Fire HD 8, it's design is a little lighter and thinner.

Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a lot better display than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has a lot better pixels density, a lot higher 2560 x 1600 resolution and a quite larger screen. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a superior memory to store more games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 128 GB, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 also has more internal memory capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a bit better processing unit than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has a greater number of cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a superior battery life than Amazon Fire HD 8. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 takes a lot better photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 also has a lot better resolution back camera.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is not only the best devices of the ones we compare here, but it's also the cheapest.
