Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is a lot better than the Amazon Fire HD 8, having a 75.2 score against 54.1. Samsung Galaxy Tab S3's body is newer and incredibly thinner than Amazon Fire HD 8's, but it is a lot heavier. Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop, counting with a couple nice extra features.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has a sharper screen than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has a greater screen density, a bigger screen and a lot higher 1536 x 2048 resolution. The Galaxy Tab S3 has much more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has 16 GB more internal storage and a SD memory slot that admits up to 256 GB.
Galaxy Tab S3 features just a little better hardware performance than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Galaxy Tab S3 also has more RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab S3 shoots much better pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has a much higher (4K) video resolution and a camera in the back with way more mega pixels.
Galaxy Tab S3 features a way better battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 8.
The Galaxy Tab S3 is way more expensive than Amazon Fire HD 8, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
