The Xperia Tablet S is a little bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 8, with a global score of 58.9 against 54.1. Both of these tablets have Android OS, but the Xperia Tablet S has an older 4.1.1 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop. Even though the Xperia Tablet S is a better device than the Amazon Fire HD 8, it must be noted that it's also much older, much thicker and notably heavier.
