Comparison review
Xiaomi MiPad is much better than Amazon Fire HD 8, getting a 64.4 score against 54.1. Xiaomi MiPad is a better portable tablet than Amazon Fire HD 8, it must be noted that it is also older, just a little bit thicker and heavier. The Xiaomi MiPad has a bit faster CPU than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have 4 cpu cores, the Xiaomi MiPad also has more RAM.
The Xiaomi MiPad features a much sharper display than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot better 2048 x 1536 resolution and a way better pixel density. The Xiaomi MiPad takes much clearer photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi MiPad also has a much better resolution camera in the back.
Xiaomi MiPad and Amazon Fire HD 8 have similar storage for applications and games, both have an external memory slot that admits up to 128 GB and equal internal storage capacity. Xiaomi MiPad counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 8.
The Xiaomi MiPad costs a lot more than Amazon Fire HD 8, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
