The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a score of 60.8, which is a little bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s global score of 58.6. These tablets use Android OS, but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has the previous 4.2.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie. Even though the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is notably older than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), it's construction is just a little bit thinner and lighter.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a little better hardware performance than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and although they both have a 2 GB RAM memory and a Quad-Core CPU, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has an extra graphics co-processor.
