The Apple iPad 3 has a global score of 71.1, which is a lot better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s overall score of 58.6. The Apple iPad 3 body is a little bit thinner than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), but it's much heavier and was released many years before. The Apple iPad 3 has iOS 6.1 operating system, and Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) comes with Android 9.0 Pie operating system.
IPad 3 counts with a much better display than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a way higher 1536 x 2048 resolution, a bigger display and a better pixels quantity in each inch of display. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) counts with much more storage to install applications and games than iPad 3, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a faster CPU than iPad 3, because it has a higher number of faster cores and 1 GB more RAM memory. The iPad 3 takes way better photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a much higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a way more MP camera in the back.
The iPad 3 counts with a very superior battery performance than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).
Although iPad 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). So if you need that extra features, you can buy iPad 3, else you can save some dollars and get the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), giving up a couple specs and features.
