The Apple iPad 4 has a global score of 70.8, which is way better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s general score of 58.6. The Apple iPad 4 works with iOS 7.x OS, while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie OS. The Apple iPad 4 construction is just a bit thinner but much heavier than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).
The iPad 4 counts with a way better display than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a way higher 1536 x 2048 resolution, a better pixel number in each inch in the screen and a larger screen. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) counts with a bit more memory to store more games and applications than Apple iPad 4, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a little faster processor than iPad 4, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and a greater number of cores. The iPad 4 and Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) both feature very similar battery durations. Apple iPad 4 takes much clearer photographs and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a camera in the back with a way better resolution and a lot higher 1920x1080 video quality.
Although Apple iPad 4 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your budget.
