The Asus VivoTab RT has an overall score of 61, which is just a bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s 58.6 global score. The Asus VivoTab RT has Windows RT operating system, while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) works with Android 9.0 Pie operating system. Asus VivoTab RT is a notably older and noticeably heavier tablet than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), but Asus made it thinner anyway.
Asus VivoTab RT features a display that's very similar to the screen in Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because although the Asus VivoTab RT has a just a little less pixels per display inch, it also counts with a larger screen and a quite better 768 x 1366 resolution. The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) counts with just a little better performance than Asus VivoTab RT. Both of them have 4 CPU cores and the same RAM memory amount.
The Asus VivoTab RT captures greater pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a camera with much more megapixels and a much better (Full HD) video quality. The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) counts with a superior storage capacity for applications and games than Asus VivoTab RT, although it has just 32 GB internal memory capacity.
Asus VivoTab RT's battery life is very similar to the battery performance in Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).
Although Asus VivoTab RT is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Asus VivoTab RT, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), resigning a couple specs and features.
