Comparison review
The Google Nexus 7 has a general score of 59.3, which is a little bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s overall score of 58.6. Google Nexus 7's construction is a bit lighter than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), but it's a little bit thicker and was released many years before. These devices have Android OS, but the Google Nexus 7 has the older 5.1 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Google Nexus 7 counts with a more vivid screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, the Google Nexus 7 also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the display. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) counts with a bit superior CPU than Google Nexus 7, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, and they both have the same number of cores, the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) also counts with more RAM.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) captures much better pictures and videos than Google Nexus 7. Although Google Nexus 7 is a better device, it costs more than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). So if you want that extra features, you can buy Google Nexus 7, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), giving up a couple features and specs.
