Comparison review
HTC Flyer has an overall score of 58.7, which is a bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s 58.6 overall score. These devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but the HTC Flyer has older 3.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Even being the best in this comparison, the HTC Flyer is a much older, heavier and way thicker tablet device than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).
Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has just a little better performance than HTC Flyer, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with 1 GB more RAM and a greater number of cores (and also faster). HTC Flyer counts with a little sharper screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), although it has a lot worse resolution of 600 x 1024, a little smaller screen and a quite lower count of pixels per inch of screen.
Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) counts with a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC Flyer, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 1000 GB. The HTC Flyer takes greater photographs and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and although they both have the same 1280x720 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the HTC Flyer also has a camera with much more megapixels.
The HTC Flyer features a very superior battery performance than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).
Although HTC Flyer is a better device, it costs a lot more than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
