Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is just a bit better than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), having a general score of 61.7 against 58.6. Even though the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is older and just a little bit thicker than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), it's construction is still just a bit lighter. Both devices in this comparison review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has the previous 4.1 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie version.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE counts with a little more vivid screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), although it has a just a bit lower pixels density, a way worse 600 x 1024px resolution and a little bit smaller display. The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) counts with a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has more internal memory capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 1000 GB.

So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), giving up some features and specifications.
