Comparison review

Galaxy Tab has a global score of 58.6, which is a little bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s 58.6 global score. Both tablets in this comparison have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab has the previous 2.3.3 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie. Although it's the best tablet in our current comparison, the Galaxy Tab is a noticeably older, somewhat thicker and a bit heavier tablet than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).

The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a quite better processing power than Galaxy Tab, because it has a larger number of cores and 1,5 GB more RAM. The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) and the Galaxy Tab feature quite similar displays, although the Galaxy Tab has a much lower 600 x 1024 resolution, a little bit smaller display and a just a bit inferior pixel number in each inch of display.

The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a very superior storage to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab. Both have equal internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Tab features a superior camera than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 720x480 video definition, the Galaxy Tab also has a back camera with way more mega-pixels.

The Galaxy Tab has a very superior battery life than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).

Although Galaxy Tab is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
