Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) is slightly better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, having a 58.6 score against 57.6. Both of these tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) design is noticeably newer, but somewhat thicker and just a bit heavier than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD.
