Google Pixel Slate is way better than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), with a 79.3 score against 59.7. Google Pixel Slate's body is thinner than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), but it's incredibly heavier and was released around a year before. The Google Pixel Slate counts with Chrome OS OS, while Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) comes with Android 9.0 Pie OS.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features a little faster processor than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores. Google Pixel Slate has a more vivid screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a really larger screen, a much higher number of pixels per screen inch and a way higher 3000 x 2000 resolution.

So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Google Pixel Slate, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), resigning some specs and features.
