The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 is slightly better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), with a score of 62.6 against 59.7. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has the previous 4.0 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 design is just a bit thinner than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), although it is a little heavier and was released 9 years before.

The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 counts with a sharper display than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because although it has a bit worse pixel density, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 also counts with a little bigger screen. Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a very superior memory for applications and games than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) also has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1000 GB.

Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a bit better processor than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM and a higher number of faster cores. Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 features a much longer battery life than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).

Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 takes much better photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and although they both have the same (HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 also has a camera with a way better 5 mega pixels resolution.

Although Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020). If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
