Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is just a bit better than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), having a overall score of 61.7 against 59.7. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is a way older and just a little thicker portable tablet than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), but Samsung made it just a bit lighter anyway. Both tablets we are comparing here use Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has older 4.1 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores (and they are faster) and a higher amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a little sharper display than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), although it has a little bit smaller screen, a way lower resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels and a quite worse screen pixel density.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE counts with a much better camera than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE also has a camera with way more MP. Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a lot bigger memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has more internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1000 GB.
Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a much longer battery life than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE costs more than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), but it's still a good choice, as you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
