Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a general score of 60.8, which is slightly better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020)'s score of 59.7. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has 4.1.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus design is a little lighter than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), but it's a little thicker and was released 9 years before.
Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features a greater hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and 2 more processing cores. Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a little sharper display than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), although it has a little bit worse display pixel density, a bit smaller screen and a much lower 600 x 1024 resolution.
Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features a much better storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB. Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus features a superior battery performance than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus counts with a little bit better camera than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and although they both have the same 1280x720 video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus also has a way better 3 mega-pixels resolution camera.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020). So if you need that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), letting go a couple specifications.
