Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 7.7 has an overall score of 64.8, which is a little bit better than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020)'s 59.7 global score. Both tablets we compare here use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab 7.7 has an older 4.0.4 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie. Galaxy Tab 7.7 is an older portable tablet than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), but it's just a little lighter and thinner anyway.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a more vivid screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 800 x 1280, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also counts with a little bit better quantity of pixels in each display inch. Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features a much bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1000 GB.
Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with a higher number of faster cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a very superior battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a bit better camera than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 video quality, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has a back-facing camera with a way higher resolution.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020). So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), giving up some specifications.
