Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab has a global score of 58.6, which is just a bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 8's 53.3 general score. These tablets have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab has older 2.3.3 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 version. Samsung Galaxy Tab's body is much older, extremely thicker and heavier than the Amazon Fire HD 8.

Amazon Fire HD 8 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab, and although they both have a Single-Core processing unit, the Amazon Fire HD 8 also has more RAM. The Amazon Fire HD 8 counts with a little bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab, because it has a better resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, a bit bigger screen and a quite greater number of pixels per display inch.

Amazon Fire HD 8 has a greater storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab, although it has just 16 GB internal memory. The Galaxy Tab counts with a much better camera than Amazon Fire HD 8, although it has a much worse 720x480 video resolution and a back facing camera with a much worse 3 MP resolution.
