Comparison review

The Sony Tablet P is a bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 8, getting a 55.7 score against 53.3. The Sony Tablet P is a older, heavier and incredibly thicker tablet than the Amazon Fire HD 8. These devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but Sony Tablet P has an older 4.0.3 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 version.

The Amazon Fire HD 8 has a bit better CPU than Sony Tablet P, although it has a lower number of cores , they both have 1 GB of RAM. Amazon Fire HD 8 and Sony Tablet P have incredibly similar displays, because although the Sony Tablet P has a lot smaller display and a way worse resolution of 480 x 1024px, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per display inch.
