Comparison review
Google Nexus 9 is a bit better than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, having a score of 74.5 against 67.9. Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but Google Nexus 9 has 5.0 version and Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4. Google Nexus 9 is better than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, it must be told that it is also heavier and a little bit thicker.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a slightly better looking screen than Google Nexus 9, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also has a quite higher pixels density and a little bit higher 1600 x 2560 resolution. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than Google Nexus 9, because it has more internal storage.
Google Nexus 9 has a bit more powerful CPU than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has 2 lesser and slower processing cores, and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Google Nexus 9 also counts with a 64 bits processor. The Google Nexus 9 features a very superior battery duration than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
Google Nexus 9 features a slightly better camera than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for taking pictures and videos in low light situations, they both have the same video frame rates, a same resolution back-facing camera and the same video quality.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, Google Nexus 9 is also very cheap compared to the other ones.
