Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has a global score of 75.1, which is much better than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's 67.9 global score. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 counts with Windows 10 Pro operating system, while Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4 operating system. Microsoft Surface Pro 4's design is newer, but a lot heavier and a bit thicker than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a lot better processing power than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores.
