The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has an overall score of 74.5, which is a bit better than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's 67.9 score. These devices come with Android OS, but the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a more recent 4.4.2 version and Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4, giving some additional features and improved performance. GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition)'s construction is older, just a little thicker and much heavier than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
