Comparison review
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a score of 67.9, which is much better than the Asus VivoTab RT's global score of 61. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 works with Android 4.4 OS, while Asus VivoTab RT comes with Windows RT OS. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a a lot newer device, and it is also lighter and just a little bit thinner than the Asus VivoTab RT.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has just a bit better processing power than Asus VivoTab RT. Both of them have a 2 GB RAM and the same number of cores. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a much sharper display than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a way better 1600 x 2560 resolution and a way better pixel count per inch in the screen.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 and the Asus VivoTab RT both count with extremely similar memory to install games and applications, both have exactly the same internal memory. Asus VivoTab RT features a battery performance that's just as good as Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's battery life. Asus VivoTab RT has just a bit better camera than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. They have the same diafragm aperture, the same (Full HD) video definition, a same resolution back camera and the same video frame rate.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a lot more expensive than the Asus VivoTab RT, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
