Comparison review
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is better than the Asus VivoTab Smart, having a general score of 67.9 against 58.7. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 works with Android 4.4 OS, while Asus VivoTab Smart comes with Windows 8 OS. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's construction is noticeably lighter and a lot thinner than Asus VivoTab Smart.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a much more vibrant screen than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and a much higher screen density. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a little faster processor than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, and they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also counts with a larger number of cores (and faster).
Asus VivoTab Smart has just a bit better camera than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. Asus VivoTab Smart features as much storage capacity to install applications and games as the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, both of them have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity.

Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 costs a lot more than the Asus VivoTab Smart, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
