Comparison review
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has an overall score of 67.9, which is much better than HTC Flyer's global score of 58.7. These tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a more recent 4.4 version while HTC Flyer has Android 3.2, giving you lots of additional features and performance tweaks. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a a lot newer tablet, and it is also somewhat lighter and notably thinner than the HTC Flyer.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with an incredibly better looking screen than HTC Flyer, because it has a much greater pixel count per inch in the display, a much higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 and a larger display. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a better CPU than HTC Flyer, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with more RAM and a larger number of faster cores.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features just a bit bigger memory for apps and games than HTC Flyer, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal memory. HTC Flyer has a camera that is very similar to the camera in Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, although the HTC Flyer has a lot worse 1280x720 (HD) video definition and a lot less MP resolution back facing camera.
HTC Flyer features a very superior battery performance than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 costs a lot more money than HTC Flyer, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
