Comparison review
Huawei MediaPad X2 has a global score of 72.7, which is slightly better than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's 67.9 general score. These tablets have Android OS, but the Huawei MediaPad X2 has the newer 5.0 version while Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4 version, giving some extra features. Even though Huawei MediaPad X2 and Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 were released with only 6 months difference, Huawei MediaPad X2 is just a little bit thinner and way lighter.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a bit faster CPU than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because it has more RAM memory, a 64 bits CPU and a larger number of cores. Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a little bit better looking screen than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, although it has a way smaller display, a bit worse amount of pixels per display inch and a way worse 1920 x 1200px resolution.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 has just a bit more storage for games and applications than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits up to 128 GB. The Huawei MediaPad X2 features a way better battery performance than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 captures clearer pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also has a back facing camera with a way better 13 mega pixels resolution.
Despite of being the best tablet in our current comparison, the Huawei MediaPad X2 is also very cheap compared to the other tablets, which makes buying this tablet an easy decision.
