Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a general score of 67.9, which is much better than the LG G Pad 10.1's 58.4 overall score. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a somewhat thinner and lighter portable tablet than the LG G Pad 10.1. Both of these tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has the previous 4.4 version while LG G Pad 10.1 has Android 5.0 version.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a bit better performance than LG G Pad 10.1, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have 4 cpu cores, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also counts with 1 GB more RAM memory. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a much sharper display than LG G Pad 10.1, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 and way more pixels per display inch.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than LG G Pad 10.1, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.
