Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a little bit better than the LG G Pad X 8.3, getting a global score of 67.9 against 63.8. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's body is just a bit heavier but thinner than LG G Pad X 8.3, and both were released with only a few months difference. Both of these tablets have Android operating system, but Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has older 4.4 version while LG G Pad X 8.3 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
