Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is much better than the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, having a 67.9 score against 60.8. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 body is noticeably newer and thinner than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus's, but it is a little bit heavier. Both devices in this comparison include Android OS, but Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has the newer 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has Android 4.1.2 version, providing a lot of extra features.

The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a way better screen than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a bigger display, a much better number of pixels per inch in the screen and a much better resolution of 1600 x 2560px. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with just a bit bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.
